What started out as a small batch ice cream producer is now a full fledged shop.
They supply unique flavors to other local café's and shops.
Great selection of vegan options as well as unique flavors.
It adds to the ever growing local dessert shops currently in Hamilton.
Personally I tried what I wanted to try which was the London Fog. It was simply wonderful.
They have a "Surprise" flavor which is very interesting and a must try. It is black in color so I am suspecting it to be charcoal based.
Other unique flavors I would give a try would be: cranberry rose, watermelon lavender, coffee, fruit loops, mango sriracha and blueberry thyme.
You could also try their ice cream on a waffle, pie or in a milk shake.
I went to Willard's on opening day and they were amazing there. Extremely friendly and personable.
They gave us the layout of the place and introduced us to all the flavors they had available. I was also given a few samples before deciding on one.
Great owners who want to put out great quality items.
The London Fog ice cream was extremely flavorful and true to its flavor. It packed a huge punch of flavor and was very easy to distinguish. It was creamy but also not perfect(in a good way) like mass produced ice cream.
The pumpkin cheesecake ice cream also had a huge flavor profile and tasted just like cheesecake. It was rich and very decadent which was perfect.
The pricing for the cones were also very reasonable. $4.50 for a medium one scoop cone.
Willard's is located on Main St E by Gage Park. Walking into the shop, it had great feature walls and wooden accents. Black and white are the color theme and wooden tables and chairs fill the shop.
A very inviting and great place to sit and relax with friends and family. A modern take on a classic ice cream shop.
Give this shop a try and you will be pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of the cones and ice cream. I look forward to being back in Hamilton and trying more flavors! Thanks for having me.
