What I tried:
Jerk chicken lunch special, goat curry, roti, Kahlua cake and milo.
Pro:
Finally an authentic Jamaican restaurant in Hamilton from this mother-daughter team!
Located next to Vintage Coffee and The Capitol Bar.

Con:
Nothing major at the moment.
There is no tip button when using a card to pay! So make sure to bring cash for tips.
Must Try:
The jerk chicken is one of the best I've had. Only $6.99 for their lunch special.
Coconut coffee and other drip coffees. (I cannot have caffeine so I did not try it).

Service:
Friendly and warm. The owners Kristan and mom/chef Yvette were both delightful and very enthusiastic to have opened!
Being just the two of them, it takes awhile for your food and drinks to arrive. However, I assure you it is worth the wait.
They have gone through a lot to have opened this restaurant and although you might not see this restaurant being promoted anywhere, trust me it does get busy in there!

Food:
The lunch special comes with rice and beans, a choice of creamy coleslaw or potato salad, and a choice between Jamaican fried chicken or Jerk Chicken. I picked the Jerk chicken, coleslaw and rice combo. It also comes with a canned drink. Did I mention only for $6.99?!
The chicken was cooked to perfection. It was an explosion of flavors and perfect to the taste with the combination of creamy coleslaw and rice.
The goat curry and roti was to die for. The most tender pieces of goat with a great curry. Reminded me of my moms cooking.
I am very biased when it comes to "Milo" as I grew up drinking it about twice a day. They made the perfect glass of hot milo and it took me back home to Malaysia.
The Kahlua cake was moist and very delicious.
Pro Tip: Try the in house made hot sauce! Amazing!

Atmosphere:
Big space with bay windows letting the sun in to this Jamaican restaurant.
Do not expect a hipster, minimalist or modern set up as this is a simple restaurant.
It has a rustic and cozy island feel to it. Chalk walls and tables with art surround the restaurant.
One comfortable couch with a big table to have a great sit down meal.
Love and a sense of community is what you feel at Vibez.

Overall:
Definitely give this place a try! You will not only leave full and happy but also really excited to spread the word to your friends!
