Located conveniently in the heart of downtown Toronto.
Very long lines during the weekends (I decided to go on a Monday which was perfect).
Pricey. Cheese tarts range from $14.99-$24.99 for the 6".
The original cheese tart is why everyone flocks to Pablo. Next time I visit, I will definitely try the Matcha Cheese Tart as well.
Professional and transactional. Fast and efficient.
The original cheese tart is a cream cheese base tart baked to a medium rare in a flaky pastry shell. The surface is finished with an apricot jam glaze and their signature stamp.
The whole cheese tart goes for $15.99 but should you want to try different flavors, you can order slices for $3.99.
It was moist, not too sweet and just melted in your mouth with ease.
There are tables at the rear of the shop for dining in.
Yellow and brown interior.
Cozy but a modern feel.
I will definitely try other cheese tarts at Pablo in the future. This was a brief stopover and I could not spend more time there. As it is a little pricy for a small tart, this is a special treat that cannot be missed!
