Matcha everything. It is one of my favorite flavors and I am absolutely elated that these type of Japanese café's and soft serve bars are being brought over to Toronto.
Top quality matcha which gives you top quality desserts and drinks.
Located in Square One mall or downtown Toronto conveniently for everyone.
Since everything on the menu involves matcha, you really cannot go wrong by ordering anything. The matcha soft serve and hot drinks are a great way to try the matcha in its purest form without the additional...
What I tried: Pear Tart, regular latte and a decaf latte.
Located conveniently on James St N, adding to the ever growing area.
Unique theme and concept for a café in Hamilton.
One of the few café's that is open later into the night and serve alcohol, food and evening entertainment.
The top reason why I was going to visit Synonym was because I heard so much buzz around the Mac & Cheese. However, when I visited the shop I was told it was for dinner only on weekends. So then I messaged their Instagram to ask when I can come try the Mac & Cheese and I was told that it was only for lunch between 10AM-3PM everyday. Now, on their menu it says the Mac & Cheese is available everyday after 5PM. Since I was only visiting for a week, I sadly did not get to try it due to the timing mi...
What I tried: Autumn spice, Coconut Cashew, PB&J, Black cacao and Pistachio macarons. Earl Grey Crème Tea Latte, Sencha Tea, and a Latte with Macadamia Milk. Also, the dark chocolate Demi Macaron as well.
Located in the quaint and ever changing International Village on King St downtown Hamillton.
Everything is organic and 100% natural which makes this place unique and current.
The owners were wonderful and always so accommodating.
One of a kind Parisian inspired café in Hamilton and everything is made in house.
No complaints whatsoever. On a personal level, I wished they had decaf coffee as I was not able to try the beautiful lattes.
The macarons are definitely the star of the show. Try any flavors and you will not be disappointed. My...
Charcoal and ube flavored soft serve with charcoal cones.
Located in a Lululemon store in the heart of Toronto on Queen St.
We did not have to wait at all for our cones as it was not busy. I have heard that the store usually has a 1 hour wait but the pop up did amazing.
The charcoal soft serve stains everything! Speaking from my experience there, do not wear white! I should have known better.
The charcoal flavor is the most popular one (and most instagramable). Try the other flavors if you can as they have charcoal, ube, matcha and vanilla. You can also experiment and have all four flavors in a twist.
OneZo Tapioca Milk Tea and OneZo Oolong Milk Tea with sesame, cactus and mango tapioca.
Located in the heart of Toronto's Chinatown. Convenient location as you wander about Spadina Ave.
They make their own tapioca in house everyday and as you may have guessed, it is fresh and delicious.
Unique tea and tapioca flavors.
I really wanted to try their "Dirty Tea" series (Brown sugar dirty Milk Tea), but it was not available the day I went. This just means I would have to visit them again in the future.
Besides that, I have nothing negative to say.
A few days ago on their Instagram I noticed that they have new sizes for their Dirty Tea series. Contains more drink and looks adorable. Try anything on the Dirty Tea Series! Also try every flavor of...
